My name is Folke West. I am a Finnish Film Director. I am best known for my TV travel documentaries that have aired for the past 12 years weekly in Finland and the Scandinavian market.

I have worked and traveled all over the world and have hired many people to accompany me to document many trips.

I recently hired Sharon Lyon to document a travel trip for me to Senegal, The Gambia, the Cape Verde Islands and a safari in Tanzania, East Africa.

When I first met Sharon, I was impressed with her knowledge and expert ability to photographically capture the essence of the wild animals of east Africa in the Serengeti. I admired her technique, style, work ethic and her ability to work independently as well as work as a team. I saw that she was outgoing, friendly, able to cope with any challenge, got along with and can communicate with just about anybody from any country. After traveling and working with Sharon for five consecutive weeks I can highly recommend her for any photography assignment. It has been a pleasure working with her.
